First strike is probably a bit confusing on a fight card. People will think that it gets to deal its damage first in the fight, but it doesn't.
...it doesn't? Fight is a stupidly worded ability, then. I hereby declare it to be so.
Don't forget: Fighting isn't combat damage.
Recommendation of what to change first strike into?
Entirely depends what the needs of your set are. A 2/4 with just this activated ability is plenty interesting enough, so I don't see a need for a keyword ability as well, unless the set is otherwise devoid of common white vigilance creatures or some such.
