But does accomplice let you play this as your commander? Because right now, it's not a creature so it's not a legal commander, and accomplice doesn't do anything on this card
You caught the card mid update while I was moving some notes over from two other sources.
The idea is to have two cycles with accomplice that are mono-colored. A vehicle cycle and an equipment cycle.
Cleric? Not Artificer?
Lacks mechanical cohesion.
Current MTG design doesn't have a required mechanical component for creature types, and generally bend towards lore and planar design. There is some space to argue that some type of life total manipulation could be tied into the Cleric type, but only 30/63 of the recent Clerics reference some form of increasing lifetotal.
As Rajul was a medical pioneer for the Atherborn, the Cleric type makes lore sense for this particular card file, with it's slot being part of the "Kaladesh" aligned 5 color EDH deck.
Due to card file shift, this is no longer a top down card design space for Rajul, the slot has now been changed to a Opposing Wedge build for the lacking color.
As such, Rajul's card has been shelved and now replaced with Kaladesh themed G/W background commander.
