I think that's one way to do four-colored cards, but I try to follow always multiple guidelines at once for these cards.

"Destroy target green card" doesn't cost 4, though. It costs about {1}{b}. It's also kinda not a very large design space - how many different ways can you phrase that?

I meant much more than destroy target green thing. I mean something like "destroy target creature, enchantment and land." -"Opponents can not gain life" - "Creatures your opponents control lose hexproof and can not gain hexproof." - "Destroy all creatures without flying" - "Exile all token creatures". Also some simpler ideas like skulk and mill damage.

Well, most of those are one or two color. Destroying enchantments and lands is something that green does so those feel a bit weird. Even losing hexproof is idk, since I don't feel Archetype of Endurance's hexproof removing ability is super non-green even when it's part of that cycle with a praetor like theme.

One of my older four colored, non-green cards I designed was an artifact creature with Reckless Assault and Godhead of Awe as its abilities. I feel like combining effects from two two-colored "guilds" is also a way to go about this.

Nephilim designs are actually something I've been trying to keep memoir up whenever I note them in some custom site.
