Not the Bird that gives all creatures with flying +1/+1 that I expected to see...

So the opponent can nap back their Equipment? That seems like a very specific thing to invest so much text on. Am I missing something?

I guess the more obvious use is "Oh, thiey found a way to kill one of it. Ok, other one of it? Deal a point of damage and move all the stuff across on the cheap"

That it can steal at instant speed, and then the opponent has to wait for a sorcery to take it back does give a short window for borrowing equipment though. The flavour needs to make clearer that this is a borrow, not a permanent steal.

Or add yet more words to make it a permanent steal of the equipment. That would be powerfully nifty, too. But, well, red likes temporary control; not sure how you anger a sword, but red will certainly try.

I was going for a dragon creating a hoard from its enemies items flavorwise. I'm not opposed to making the ability permanent if you think that would be better for the card. As for the name, I've been phoning them in, but I think replacing "Lord" with "Tyrant" will capture a better feel for the set.

Ok; a dragon who slays its foes and takes their stuff - that's certainly a cool image.

But right now, you have a dragon who slays its enemies and, um, takes the stuff they had on loan from someone else, who can then come round and reposess them. Which is a bit of a different message.

Honestly - I'd go all in, on this being a sneaky dragon that steals stuff for its hoard, but isn't very good on keeping an eye on it:
Flying
{1}{r}: Equip ~ with target equipment (control of that equipment does not change).

The name isn't a great match for the ability either way though. I mean, it doesn't have a particular hate on for flyers, and what does 'tyrant' have to do with equipment?

Okay, let's deal back on the slaying. Stealing equipment from the dead just felt like an easy representation. I like what you've suggested Vitenka, just not for a dragon. I was simply trying to add a dragon because they're red's iconic creature.

Tyrant associates with an oppressor, and while this dragon isn't intended to be a character, it matches some of the flavor in going for I the set (dystopian settings often are run by some fashion of tyranny). "[O]f the Skies" is there only because dragons (in Magic) fly.
