What I want: a 2/1 for 1 that gives a reward for having a weenie on the top of the player's library. Worries: This might be white card advantage, which seems generally advised against, although white occasionally gets it now usually in some weenie-based interaction, so maybe it's okay.

I'm not certain the "What I want" is really what you should want.

These even chain together. Are 2/1 vanillas for {w} really this obsolete? Anyway, I think it would be better if the ability didn't reward going full weenie.

Star flavor springs to my mind:

> When ~ ETBs, look at the top card of your library. If it's an enchantment card, you may reveal it and put it into your hand.

That would still be useful if you had a weenie deck that focused on buffing your dudes with Auras, but wouldn't just say "play as many copies of me and other weenie creatures as you can" so not so linear.

As an example, I did a 2/1 for {w} with an ability (Healer of Hurts) that helped a quite specific strategy ({w/b} archetype with Feed the Emptiness & Dissolving Malevolence among others) though it's also an enchantment creature which makes it a high-pick anyway in the environment in question.

Uncommon 2/1s for {w} tend to have some kind of specific ability now. Usually that ability is tied to a theme of the set or showcasing a mechanic of the set though. I will take that into consideration when trying to give this card a new ability. There's no Star flavor; I arbitrarily picked a name as I usually do. I think namewise I was going for someone who looked to the stars to navigate the group because that sounded fantastical and I was tired of saying wolf and pack.

"When Starguide enters the battlefield reveal the top card of your library. If a creature with a power of 2 or less was revealed this way, add that creature to your hand." to a snow-hosing ability. This idea was taken from Dragon Hunter

Forgot UEOT, added flavor text, and changed name

Wizard, huh? Those are pretty rare in white.

The new ability is... interesting. Might make one reconsider when is the best moment to play it. It's also symmetrical which is something we don't see so much these days.

Wizards aren't terribly uncommon in white.

I tend to switch between symmetrical and asymmetrical depending on how hard I want to push the card. To be fair, it's body is better than it's ability right now, since the number of snow instants and activated abilities that could be used during your own turn is low.
