This is way out of black's pie, mechanically. And I don't think Grue is a very black character at all, flavour-wise, either. He may be one of the whitest of the Undersiders. Where Tattletale is blue (she loves finding things out for their own sake, and is neither moral nor amoral), and perhaps Imp is black (or at least red - she's basically purely selfish), Grue is very noble and puts others before himself.
It's a really interesting question what colour Skitter would be! She's often very altruistic (). She has a strong moral sense (). But she's got a scary temper (). She's a master of group-think (), a superb tactical coordinator (??), capable of being extremely cruel when she thinks she needs to be (mainly , but that can also be in or other colours)...
Any sufficiently complex character will be hard to pin into one of Magic's colours. And Skitter is one of the more complex characters of recent years.
I'd suggest this should be slightly more generic, something like "At the beginning of each combat, target creature gains flying UEOT".
I'd also suggest it shouldn't be quite so much better than Gaea's Skyfolk... a 3/3 flyer for 3 or a 2/2 flyer for 2 seem more sensible than a 3/3 flyer for 2.
Unless you wanted to go with a fading-type ability? "~ ETBs with 3 +1/+1 counters on it. At end of your turn, remove a counter from ~"?
He's now white (well, in colour)
Quite!

Perhaps "if Lung attacked or blocked this turn"?
I'd say he's red.
Hound creature, surely?
Not so sure about that second ability.
