However the damage ends up, it's a pretty awesome design.
White has gotten Righteous Blow and Sunlance as precedence. Considering one's a shock and the other's a sorcery, I agree this should only be 2 damage for WW. It's still pretty efficient, since you essentially get a free fog too.
Original card.
The skeleton has been officially finalized, and I need, like 4 or 5 uncommons per color. Good. This will give me a chance to spackle the rest of the holes.
Rashka, the Slayer's flavor text no longer fit on Rashka, so it needed a home. The set needed a white uncommon removal spell. It needed a Holy Day, too. So I figure this fulfills 3 roles.
At the last second, I moved this to WW from 1WW because I wanted to push it... but this might be too much. It does technically have a drawback... you can't cast the Holy Day side if your opponent is attacking with something huge that can't be targeted. I don't know... I think I still overdid it. I'm guessing I should drop to 2 damage.
The artwork looks like a Green card, I know. But Robot Del Espacio's subject is actually Rashka, the Slayer. So how am I not supposed to use it? Also of note: The artwork contains no arrow, yet Rashka is pulling on her bowstring. Umm...
I like this version.
Turns out I did have a change for this card. Green had too many rares, so this demoted to uncommon. Makes sense, too, since it hunts decks full of rares...
Reminds me of Whipkeeper, or Initiate of Blood. As in, there are already a couple of souped-up Opportunists. (As well as the Orzhov Euthanists / Final-Sting Faeries.) But I quite like that effect, so I have no problem with this.
FWIW Eron the Relentless doesn't have a comma in his name.
Yet one more stab at this card. Originally, I thought that a creature that deals its damage after combat was an anachronistic old way of thinking. And it kind of is. But then I realized that instead of being a Heavy Ballista that this could be a souped up Opportunist.
For a few minutes, I really wanted to give this card ": Cast Inflame", but it didn't need that. Islandhome/Islandattack is now represented by Defender.
And... pulled from the skeleton.
