  Hm. This card raises two questions.

  1. In modern design guidelines, is there a "fair" cost for "destroy all permanents"? I think the mana pool clause is necessary (although if this costs 6+, it's hard to float mana). Does the existance of indestructible creatures mean this should always be "exile"?

  2. Am I going to hell for the creature type on the "Mother of all Bombs" card? :)

  PS. Ethan Fleischer (http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/feature/124a) had some very nice Dinosaur designs for GDS2. They were lizards (which I think is correct), but he had several commons that felt quite impressive, which is exactly what you'd like from dinosaurs :)

  PS. If anyone's interested, there's an (as of 2007) list of other obsolete creature types http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtgcom/feature/424a3 near the bottom. Those weren't included in the challenge, but they may inspire someone to make an unplaced card :)

  Trying to capture the trope of a wizard turning an enemy creature into an animal that he controls. But I fear the "lycanthrope" flavour would be better off removed, unfortunately.

  Taken from Greg Marques' blog on channelfireball (http://www.channelfireball.com/articles/designer-fun-designing-mechanics/) where he talked about designing new mechanics and suggested this to mimic the feeding frenzy of a shark.
