  I'd like to see them, too, but I can understand why they would be far down the list of things to do. So, no pressure.

  Actually, arguable if it is that good... but definitely looks great. This originally was a 2/2 with "Hellbent - : Regenerate." That card might be a touch under-powered, and it might also be better than this card, since it does more in the early game, and asks for you to pay mana when you probably had an abundance.

  One of the nice things about either version is that it is more vulnerable than it looks at first glance. Since your deck will rarely consist of more than 50% instants, there will usually be a shields down moment during your draw step.

  Whoa. That's somewhat splashy for a common. I'd be inclined to make it uncommon, but I guess if you want some powerful draws to hellbent at common, this fits the bill.

  Split and flip cards I've been wanting to add for a long time. They have some technical challenges from a database point of view - if someone searches for cards with type "Legendary Creature - Human Wizard", for example, I'd like the search to find the flipped form of Student of Elements. So they have to be stored in the database as two linked cards. I definitely am going to get to them at some point, but it's unlikely to be in the next couple of weeks. Thanks for mentioning, though, because each new person wanting to use them makes me more likely to implement them.

  Had to change "Beginning of the end step" to "Beginning of upkeep" to avoid doubling up shenanigans. Man, that doesn't make me very happy.
