Compare with Survivor of the Unseen. Could probably be uncommon rather than rare.
If both I and my opponent have one of these, do they have flying? (See the Oracle wording for Escaped Shapeshifter for Wizards' fiddly way around this... and in fact printing this would make that need to have errata saying "or named Fainthearted Drake".)
Oh I meant in addition to this, kinda like it's baby brother :-)
It's not a bad plan, but I wanted to make some 'big badda boom' Spellshaper effects, since most spellshapers were made during a time where they couldn't appreciate how to cost big effects, and there's a large vacuum for that.
You could always do one that spellshapes the cycled version of the card :

,
, Discard a card: Put 4 +1/+1 counters on target creature then draw a card.";
Don't know how much spellshaping a cycling ability should cost on a creature but it could be kinda interesting - Savage Lesser Authority :-)
There. Now the card's name makes sense. Who makes Savage Decrees? A Savage Authority.
Actually, I got confused. I thought this was my "Force of Nature" Token generating Spellshaper, say the name was something like "Makes-a-guy-a-Behemoth", thought to myself "That's wrong", and changed the name to this. Turns out I was wrong at being wrong, but the original name stunk anyway. I'll have to change it again later.
The card that this dude is Spellshaping, by the way, is Decree of Savagery. Like all good Timmies, he refuses to cycle it for you. Even if he's the only creature in play. Jerk.
From the title I expected this to create Behemoth tokens :-). Interesting ability.
Was an Eager Cadet, now a Squire. Sigh. I design cards to be used in my block, more than real life, and the 1/1 for
version would have been fine there. But, truth be told, this thing would be nuts in most other formats. All one has to do is think of Fireball to get at where the problem lies. Broken in Vintage.
Why the heck can't Blue have Holy Strength? Can't Blue make its creatures better with the occasional cruddy enchant creature? White's been hugging that bad enchantment for too long... it's the fact that it refuses to share it with the other colors that it looks strange here.
