Kytheon, Hero of Akros is, in some ways, a 1-mana walker. He doesn't suck like Tibalt.
I do feel that Ob is extremely unlikely to see a 1-mana incarnation.
Have you learned nothing from Tibalt? For a 1 mana walker to be balanced, it has to suck. No one likes cards that suck.
Any ideas? I'm not sure where to take it to do that, but I think if you play the right deck you should have an equipment and a creature by t5.
Better?
"Worse than Sanctuary Cat unless the opponent helps you by suiciding a 1/1 into this" is not generally where you want your cards to be.
Um. One mana for a one-sided Honden of Night's Reach? That was the + ability on the five-mana Liliana Vess. The three-mana version Liliana of the Veil had to make each player discard, and even then it was Standard-warpingly strong. (See the changes R&D were making everywhere around Khans of Tarkir to cope with LotV being in M15, before they gave up and cut her because she was warping too many things with powerful discard.)
The middle ability looks very strong too... Perhaps you meant to type 3BB and got distracted partway through?
That's... remarkably well balanced, consistent and in-flavour. Nice job.
I wonder if the top ability should be a bit more consistently useful: at the moment it'll only do something if you already have both a creature and an Equipment out.
Looks rather underwhelming for 6 mana. The middle ability is very strong, but the other two seem more like abilities on a 4-mana 'walker. I do like the kind of deck this invites though.
5 max per block, you mean. Not 5 max in standard. Also, Tibalt isn't the only awful walker, just the most popular example of a bad walker. Jace, the Living Guildpact, Nissa Revane, Sarkhan the Mad, and Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker all see very little play in any format besides EDH.
That said, if you want 8 walkers, better make sure there's no mechanical overlap between any of them. Good luck with that.
There's allowed to be 5 max in Standard at one time. With 8 in a single set, they stop being special. And Tibalt is straight up a mistake, so not a good example.
8 walkers, to be exact.
I'm doing a ton of walkers here for flavor reasons. Also walkers aren't the end-all-be-all for constructed power, a lot of them are pretty awful in constructed (TIBALT. TIBALT. TIBALT. TIBALT)
Also, pretty sure you can't have two planeswalkers with the same color(s) for constructed balance reasons.
