Would the mana cost be better as ? Or is the double X necessary and the hybrid OK here?
Yep, for the May MCC. I posted precedent for not saying "up to", but if it's necessary, I'll put it back in. I just don't want microtext.
If that's you, the wording you have there should be synced with this one and say "up to." Since you're searching for cards with a defined characteristic, you can fail to find exactly X cards, which leads to confusion for players who don't know that.
It's for the May MCC? It's not really a red card. It would be white if not for the +1/+0 feeling red.
Comments on this one please!
@Alex:No, I'd rather keep it as my own because I just like having them in a concise set. If you'd rather I make it private so that it doesn't clog up the site, I could do that.
To give you an idea: I have a deck called Monoblue Hellbent. As well suited as this card would be in that deck, I would not play it.
Wow. 5 mana for a spell that does basically nothing except protect your current hand from discard? Bottled Cloister or Ignorant Bliss say that you can draw an extra card for doing that and either do it much cheaper or do it every turn. Alternatively you could play Witchbane Orb / Leyline of Sanctity / Gilded Light to protect yourself from burn and other nasty effects as well as just discard. What's this card intended to do? And why on earth is it common - do you really want loads of these clogging up the 14th pick slot?
The usual comment I give on cardsets like this: Could you move these cards into Cards With No Home? The site is a lot more usable for all of us if we don't have lots of little "cardsets" for each person's creations.
It's now easy to search that cardset for your own creations by ticking the "Restrict by user" box. So there shouldn't be any need for a specific cardset for just your own standalone creations.
That amount of mill might be a bit extreme.
