Seems limited archetypes want to be less defined by color pairs and more by mechanics, where colorless mana can be used to fix mana and possibly enable splashing various cards.
- extra colorless hybrid common slot per common?
- have the archetype enabling/defining cards be the colorless hybrids? (ie. Paradox History and Starsleeper?)
Mechanical themes per color
True colorless
Shares all the set mechanics with other colors in form of {C/R} hybrids.
White
Centering 1 (After your draw step, put a temporary +1/+1 counter on a creature you control that's removed as the turn ends.)
Delusion X (When this enters, you gain X life until it leaves.)
increasing costs
Blue
Dreamwalk
"Lantern control"
Red
needs a lot extra material mechanically
deja vu seems like it could fit well? why was it originally dropped as a mechanic?
given red has Starsleeper, could it also have Subconscious Recall?

- Colorless fix-ramp, X-matters, Centering
White & Green have too many themes compared to others. Move X-matters to ? OR generate enough interconnecting themes for all the other color pairs.
