To help me create fully realized tribes, I'll count some creature types:

ABU before the reboot had 92 creatures:

Human 12 Spider 1 Soldier 1 Beast 1
Elemental 5 Zombie 3 Pirate 1 Wraith 1
Bird 2 Giant 3 Barbarian 1 Skeleton 2
Shapeshifter 2 Merfolk 2 Wizard 1 Wall 10
Demon 2 Spirit 2 Assassin 1 Plant 1
Angel 1 Djinn 1 Cleric 1 Avatar 1
Dwarf 2 Horse 1 Druid 3 Incarnation 1
Goblin 3 Nightmare 1 Knight 3 Dinosaur 1
Orc 2 Warrior 3 Archer 1 Fungus 1
Elf 2 Hydra 1
Treefolk 1 Bear 1
Cat 1 Specter 1
Dragon 2 Shade 1
Illusion 2 Cockatrice 1
Troll 2 Basilisk 1
Faerie 1 Ogre 1 Minotaur 1 Wurm 1
Elephant 1 Wolf 1 Nymph 1 Vampire 1
Unicorn 1 Rat 1 Dryad 1 Serpent 1
Imp 1 Pegasus 1 Juggernaut 1 Gargoyle 1

also: The Hive.

The goal is to have less creatures that don't fit a tribe, but also feature enchantment creatures and artifact creatures. I define some creature types that are generally expected to be artifact creatures or enchantment creatures, and some creature types I will want to return for certain

Creature types in italics added to the set despite not belonging to original ABU.

Zombie/Skeleton will be judgment calls with regards to being artifact creatures. As a rule magically animated corpses may be simple mythical creatures, but the more pseudo-science/magi-tech goes into it, they may be artifact creatures. As a rule of thumb Innistrad ghouls are nonartifact creatures, Innistrad skaabs are artifact creatures.

The categories are roughly similar to amuseum's three "energies" with the default being BIO, artifact creatures being MAT and enchantment creatures being SPI. There is a certain chance that Elemental will be re-envisioned as a supertype that parallels tribal and caries its own subtypes e. g. Fire, Water, Lightning, Time etc.

Noncreature Subtypes

Artifact Types

For tokens: Clue, Food, Treasure, Blood/Vial, Rock

Elsewise: Equipment, Fortification, Modification etc. Feather, Bomb, Etherium, Cell, Relic, Ring

Enchantment Types

There is a chance I swap Aura/enchantment as names for subtype/card type.

For tokens: Shard, Mask

Elsewise: Aura, Shrine, Leyline

Spell Type

Arcane, Divine etc. Charm, Ultimatum etc.

PlaneswalkerType
