Even better, I'll try to work in a sausage card.
Why thank you.
Oooh, I didn't even notice he'd drink loyalty. I like that a lot. Especially with haste, he's a big "You didn't think I could kill your walker, did you?"
Doubly like him now.
Yeah, I may up it to 5. You think I could bump it to 5 and make it an instant?
Eh, it gives them a choice, which is always worse than it seems.
Yeah, the flavor here is a work in progress. In my file, this guy's working title name was "Planeswalker killer". And I felt like throwing in a "hex" somewhere in the name because of Hex Parasite and Vampire Hexmage.
Heh; it's a vampire that drinks only +1/+1 blood (well, sort of - removing a -1/-1 from an undying creature onto this Perfection.)
It's... not very assassinate. Or hexy, really. I'm tempted to suggest it be made into a knight. Apart from that - I like it.
Oooooooooooooooooooooooooh. Enchtifact hate. And it hits walkers too. Goody goody gumdrops.
I should approve wholeheartedly. Except... this is almost always going to be much much nastier than it seems. Most opponents won't have a few evil things you want to burn away one at a time - mostly they have one key component; and this kills it forever.
Which... I guess other stuff does too. And this is itself removable later... and costs 4. So yeah, ok then. Give in to the temptation to make green a mighty colour once more!
Significantly better than the lifegain portion of Folk Medicine or Dryad's Caress too.
So yeah; better than one old card? Maybe. Better than two different old cards; and you get both effects for one? Probably needs upcosting a bit. I don't think I'd blink at this at CMC5.
Saying that... lifegain is cheap nowadays. If it's dropped on turn 4, it's going to be 8 life at best; and dropped later (when it comes into its own) then who cares that it only costs 4?
So yeah; go on, push that envelope.
Strictly better than Invigorating Falls, but I think that's probably okay.
What a lovely alliterative name.
also, quite a nice way to give blue lure.
Make sure the set has a hellhound too, so you can say "Hot dog, jumping frog".
