Okay here we go.

On this plane (I guess we're calling it Aethelu), the races exist in a postapocalyptic state. Generations ago, a mad scientist released a virus that destroyed most civilization and four out of the 5 major cities on the plane. In present time, the virus has mutated the remaining life found on the plane.

Humans

{r}{w}: Known as the "Ortians", the only previous race that did not die out, living in the ruins of the last standing city. They are scavengers, fighting to re-establish their world order. While most of those living today have built up an immunity to the virus, generations of infections and various mutations have left these humans deformed. Mechanic: Rally (Eager Recruit)
Jamros: A grizzled, one-eyed general, the leader of the Ortians. A man more concerned with keeping his followers alive than with rebuilding or improving civilization.
Felen: A misanthropic outcast obsessed with uncovering the old civilizations. He was born more misshapen and his bodily mutations more apparent than the other Ortians. (Felen, Ortian Outcast)

Nakhir

{w}{b}: A race of bats that have been mutated. They are very thin and stand at six feet tall or higher. Due to the mutations, some of their wings are stunted. They are a sentient and very superstitious race, but also extremely arrogant and believe they should be the rulers of Aethelu. They live within a series of mysterious ruins and temples. There are two factions within their society: The Society of the Moon, who worship the moon as a deity, and the Society of Blood, who worship blood as a deity (coming soon: better names for the factions). Mechanic: Bloodrite (Nakhir Edict)
Sene: He is the most ancient Nakhir alive, possibly the oldest sentient being on the plane. Though blind, he is extremely wise and is the leader of the Nakhir.
Pterod: The greatest Nakhir assassin alive. He ruthless and believes that Sene is too old and weak to rule.

Agelix

{b}{g}: A race of aphid-like insects that have evolved to be a major predatory force on the plane. It is a crude matriarchal society, based solely on feeding and reproducing. Mechanic: Propagate (Agelix Spawnling)
Phylox: Known as "The Mother". She is a mindless breeding machine, worshipped as a goddess. (Phylox, the Motherlord)
Skithix: A winged Agelix general. He is completely loyal to Phylox, but bloodthirsty and willing to do anything to gain her favor.

Amphidon

{g}{u}: A race of mutated frogs that have created a peaceful druidic society in the sunken ruins of one of the great cities. They believe that it is their duty to restore the natural world to its proper glory, and that their mutations are simply an extension of nature. They have powerful forms but are usually hunched over, and they use guerrilla tactics when fighting. When they are not near water or in a moist environment, they wear damp robes. Mechanic: Displace (Amphidon Cultivator)
Bufodin: Leader of the Chorus, a congregation of Amphidon leaders. Slightly xenophobic, he believes that the Amphidon should sequester themselves and limit communication with any other races.
Aruna: A talented Amphidon scout. She does not agree with Bufodin and wants to leave the Amphidon grounds to explore the world.

Scyzoa

{u}{r}: A mysterious race of giant jellyfish found in the upper mountains, that feed on magical energy. Some propel themselves through the air using magic, others propel themselves along the ground using complex tentacles. No one knows their goals, but they have shown intelligence. Mechanic: Skim (Scyzoa Ritual)
The Spellbloom: A group of Scyzoa whose consciousnesses have melded together, becoming one giant floating being.
Medura: A Scyzoa found deep in the mountains that is rumored to be able to see the future.

The Virus

{w}{u}{b}{r}{g}: While most life on the plane has adapted and formed an immunity to the virus, there are still occasionally breakouts. Victims swell, growing large boils but also physically growing larger. Mechanic: Engorge (Timber Crasher)
