Yes, as Alex explained, the intent was 'squishing together random artifacts'. :D
Also, any suggestions of clear and precise wording that isn't to wordy would be appreciated.
Thanks it's cool someone likes the idea. :D
Love the idea, and would like to see how this develops.
The suggestion for the reminder text is a good plan. But it'd be really sad to restrict assembling to only cards that already have assemble. The whole fun of the mechanic comes from squishing together random artifacts from all across Magic's past.
I would change the wording of Assemble to make sure players know that if the artifact is a creature that the creatures power and toughness add together. Also possibly limit Assemble to creatures that have it. In other words you can't assemble two artifacts that dont have assemble. I hope you can see why this could be a problem. Otherwise I like the way you applied this abandoned mechanic.
I changed it around a bit. I think the ability fits the name a bit better. That being said, I'd still like to do a Brass Squire type card.
Is that good or bad?
Lol, it had an ability, but I erased it. I'm working on it though.
That's a good point: nothing that makes repeatedly taps for multiple mana has been common for many years.
I think this is not common.
Goblin Piker wasn't bad enough? D:
Salvage Slasher may not be the best thing ever, but this is a bit aggresive.
Or
. To be fair, compare to Brass Squire.
