This card, as well as the other Blue DFC with accomplice, and the null Blue accomplice card are meant to be part of the same pre-built commander deck. As the "Face card" of that product, the Null Blue Accomplice, is vote centric, while this card in a vacuum would appear not needed to include a vote mechanic.
Good catch on the Flash ability, complete oversite on my transcribing into multiverse.
I've not noticed any intentional line breaks, outside of block texting the abilities, but I'll go over the text fields to check.
The front face, for reference, should be 3 blocks of text, and the back face should be 4.
You added additional line breaks though and the text is illegible for it.
On an entirely different note the equip ability should be at the bottom, same for the activated ability on the front.
I assume the activated ability on the front is missing "this turn" by accident.
The voting ability on the front seems like it would trigger too often for potentially redundant effect. There seems no great reason to make this vote-dependent rather than something more simple.
You could also make the whole thing more meaningful by changing it to "Whenever a commander attacks a player other than you" and make the option to pick "a creature that player controls" - or a similar wording that allows planeswalker attacks to trigger the ability.
Yeah, updating card file while doing work, so not everything is getting put in at the same time.
As for text lines, as Accomplice is largely reminder text, and a main mechanic for this supplemental commander product, it appears to be far more lines than it truly is. Front half, for example is 6 lines, while back side is 8.
Though as this is also a supplemental set, there is an understandable allowance for larger complexity.
Refer to Timothar, Baron of Bats, Strefan, Maurer Progenitor and Katilda for recent examples of cards in similar sets with as many lines of text.
Is it just me or does this card have no way to play the back-side?
Eleven and thirteen lines respectively is far too many.
