That's correct. The inherited card would fall off due to having no enchanted permanents on the battlefield, and is exiled as a replacement effect.

I'm pretty sure inherit as worded will exile the card when it dies as a creature.

Wordy. Kinda potent though. Still, I guess there's a decent chance of it not doing anything; or at best replacing itself. So a nice balance of risk and "Hey, a free spell every turn".

Kinda works well with the 'heroic' creature mold, too. I like it. If only it could use about half as many words to get to the end result.

Given the card's name, shame this can't be a cantrip "Choose a creature, target creature can only be blocked by non-black creatures other than the one you chose" :)

Dare you to make a "1/2 village" creature, though :)

Oh I hate that hex-resist ability so much :(

And this is an unkillable 4/4 flyer, and then once you DO kill it, is an unkillable +4/+4 flyer? Yowsers.

But I guess my only objection is "That's really big" and, well, it costs a lot, so it's allowed to.
