Each player's life total becomes their discovery. (Your discovery is equal to the number of lands you control with different names.)
Exile target creature you control, then return that card to the battlefield under its owner's control.

Exile target creature. At the beginning of the next end step, return that card to the battlefield under its owner's control with a number of +1/+1 counters on it equal to your discovery. (Your discovery is equal to the number of lands you control with different names.)
Destroy target creature. Create a 1/1 black insect creature token with flying.
Transform all Humans. Prevent all combat damage that would be dealt this turn by creatures other than Vampires and Spirits. (Only double faced cards can be transformed.)

Yea I was vibing off of Biorhythm here. Not entirely sure how it'd play out. I posted a card that just counts plain lands myself in the Salvation forums a year or two ago, that might have been me you're referring to.
It's like Biorhythm, but at least it won't set anyone to 0. I recall someone suggesting the variant that plain counts number of lands rather than discovery and I think that's better.
Discovery is usually too low a number and too specific for this effect.
Interesting green finisher. "You're mono? You're now doomed." But even if you're not playing mono-green yourself, you're half-doomed yourself. Since your life is now 7-9ish.
Still, you now only need a couple of points of damage to each other player, which a quick Hurricane will take care of. So niftily powerful.
It kinda doesn't feel very green yet? I mean sure, it's kinda lifebond - but in reverse?
Closest comparison point: Long Road Home.
Alright. It is a more economical wording.
They changed how it's written several years ago. Tokens are always written using "create" now
I did see that I left out the word "creature" in either case.
Is that really the proper phrasing? I'm a bit confused about that. I'm mostly seeing cards to do with tokens worded the way it is here when I look. Is it when it's only one token that it's "create"?
"Create a 1/1 black Insect creature token with flying"
Vibing off of Moonmist here to experiment with the DFC theme in
. Not 100% how much the tribal aspect may play out given other Pyrulea cards, but both vampires and spirits exist in the relevant colors, and there already are a few DFC human/vampire and human/spirit cards (Such as Oltac Aristocrat among others), so that helps enhance the overall synergy of this card.
