agreed, but a 4 CMC 1/1 is so little fun

...Wow, hang on, this is strictly better than Gravedigger in two ways? When Gravedigger turned out to be too much card advantage for common and got moved up to uncommon? This is Deadwood Treefolk levels of card advantage, while being even easier to sacrifice, without even giving up card parity. Yow.

I think this is probably rather too complex and recursive for common, in a normal set. If you're ignoring Wizards' guidelines for common - which is fine, many people do, especially for sets targeted at their friends - then I think this is still too much better than Gravedigger and should probably become a 1/1.
