Huh. My first thought was this was broken. But it occurs to me that Necrologia was not only fine, but got reprinted in 7th edition without anybody crying foul. This might just be solid.

But I personally wouldn't let it target other players. It's already a strong card long before it became a really cheap direct damage spell with no real drawback (dead players can't really use the cards in their hands...)

Hee. Powerful. Powerful either when used on yourself or used on an opponent!

Not sure it'll be especially fun to win an EDH game by dealing 15-20+ damage with this one 4-mana spell, mind. Especially for the target.

Ah, Song of the Dryads in a more suitable colour :) Reminds me of Darksteel Mutation. The ability to hit any permanent is a lot more powerful though; I suspect this should cost 3 like Song of the Dryads does.
