Mostly about the concept. I doubt this would be used, since it would be difficult to overcome the card disadvantage. I'm not sure if this works exactly like I want it to, either.
Rules: On auras, when the enchanted permanent dies/ goes away,, the aura dies too. On bindings, when enchanted permanent goes away, so does the aura, but the other permanent would be left behind. Except this one.

Also this probably needs to cost more.

I love the concept of binding two creatures together! Though it could get a little sticky in rules text.

I think this is interesting. (You're probably right, binding would be too fiddly, but it's still interesting.) I tried something similar once, but it was much more complicated.

I'm bad at costing, but I would have thought it was about right: it will almost always end up killing a creature, and can kill almost any creature, but will normally only actually take effect after something else. There are probably ways it can do more than doom blade, but I don't think many (?)

I only said this because I was thinking of Brink of Disaster, but it may be fine at this price. I'm no expert at costing, either.

Ah, I see what you mean. I think this can be cheaper because (a) it's only creatures and (b) creatures typically have to become to tapped to do anything, but this functions best when there's another creature going to the graveyard. (It may be able to kill quickly, especially if you have sac creatures, but is still only sorcery speed.)

I think this is costed fine; it's somewhat like Yoke of the Damned. It sadly would be too fiddly, due to physical layout considerations: for single-attachment cards (Auras and Equipment) people can physically place the card touching what it's attached to. That wouldn't work for this kind of thing, especially if the two cards are controlled by different players, or if there are multiple Bindings.

I thought the same about the physical implications, which is really annoying because I quite like the mechanic.

You might be able to do something like Imprint for an Aura though. However, the potential for card disadvantage in that scenario would be a lot.

I know that it probably can't happen, I just like the concept. And apparently cmeister2 quite likes it. lol
For layout, I imagine you'd put it between the two bound cards or something. Maybe put it between the two "battlefields" if the cards were controlled by different players. I don't know.

Looking back on this, it reminds me of soulbond.
