Um; uh; oh, I see. Yeuch. Also affinity; so double yuech.
So... Affinity for Goblins doesn't apply to the Align cost. It might not be wrong, but it don't feel right.

Yes it does. Affinity is a cost reduction mechanic, which applies no matter what cost you're paying
Why wouldn't affinity apply to the align cost?
Is Riggle a word I should know or just a fantastic collective noun for Goblins?

An align cost would obviously be an alternative cost and affinity is a cost reduction and the rule for determining costs states that cost reductions are applied to alternative costs to determine the total cost.
