Random Generator gave me Teferi's Curse and Thelonite Hermit. I really like Phasing, and wish they'd bring it back someday in a more presentable form like this. Its a shame they didn't update phasing like they did with Fading, but that block was so jam packed with goodies, I don't begrudge them overlooking a wonky mechanic. Maybe some day.

The keyword is working double duty in this entry, because it allows me to explain how something works without forcing me to use the necessary game text to make it do exactly that. Reminder text, after all, doesn't have to be what the mechanic does exactly. This was a tricky one to put together. There are so many things going on, some of it would have to be dropped.

Very nice tidying-up of phasing. I think this would be a fine mashup without the blue-lord bit.

I oringinally didn't have it, and the card was green. But then I realized that the blue lord bit felt a lot like Fallen Empires cards like Tidal Influence and I kind of liked the return of that mechanic... except not sucky. I'm keeping it for now, but mostly so if other things like it pop up, they have something to cling to. If I don't see any more cards like that, I'll probably drop the blue lord bit.
