Random Generator gave me Carpet of Flowers and Mountain. Mountain color shifted the carpet to red. I wanted to get the feel of power that this card could give you, but in a red mana-now sort of way. Unfortunately, this required adding Flash to the card, so you could play it during your opponent's end step. Not a very elegant solution, even if it is only one word. This card might still become:

Carpet of Lava
{r}
Enchantment
Sacrifice ~: Add X red mana to your mana pool where X is equal to (double?) the number of Islands your opponents control.

...which is not quite what I want, but would probably connect with players more than I'm willing to admit.

"At the beginning of each phase"? So I can Firebreathe 3 times with the mana by the time combat happens, and 5 times by the end step before I Fling?

Anyway, this reminds me to pair Carpet of Flowers with Quicksilver Fountain and Stormtide Leviathan.

Yeah. I may have gotten a little greedy there. I'll probably be shipping over to the rational version soon. But for the meantime, I'm just going to bask in the absurdity of this card.
