For Challenge #005 - works great with Lord of the Unreal.
I was originally going to have it give the Illusion subtype to all permanents but I wasn't sure that would work in the rules.
Should this be "in addition to their other types?"
I think you're right not to, though that would be flavourful. I think you'd have to say "all creatures are illusions in addition to their other types and all non-creature permanents are tribal illusions in addition to their other types" which would be cool, but probably not have much effect (eg. lord of the unreal only affects creatures).
There's already a card in Legends with this name. Not a particularly good card, so if they were to replace it with this one, it wouldn't be a bad move.
I wish they could actually go back and replace some cards...
The original Field of Dreams is somewhat classic. More memorable than most Enchant Worlds, at least.
This is interesting: it's obviously more restrictive than Xenograft, probably comparable in utility to Ashes of the Fallen. It'd obviously be far more interesting if it did grant the creature type to noncreatures, but that'd have to use Jack's wording which is much less simple :)
Hmmm I could always rename it Dreamfield or Field of Delusions, the name just seemed so right for the ability
I like this card, but it feels too flavorful to stop after 4 words. It makes me want to get into a philisophical tear about how changing a creature into an illusion must alter the creature in some way. Might make sense in the right block, though.
A pity, when you think of it. I can't think of any creature type that if I changed all creatures to that type, that I wouldn't want to alter the creatures in some fundamental way. Though, I can think of some funny political commentary lines, such as "All Humans are Pigs".
