For Challenge #005

I feel like this should be mythic rare.

It's comparable to Horde of Notions. I think rare is fine. I like that the keyword abilities are in colour order :P

You're probably right, even though Mythic Rare didn't exist in Lorwyn. I also thought the keyword order was a nice touch. By the way, is there a specific order used by Wizards? I think flying is always first and protection last, but I haven't spent much time researching/thinking about it. It's not alphabetical, though.

There was a Wizards Arcana on this a couple of years back. I suspect Googling for Keyword Ultimus might find it. They try to make them in the order they'll be relevant. So casting abilities like flash and kicker are first; then things that apply when declaring attackers (vigilance, haste), then when declaring blockers (flying), then damage (death touch, trample). Which nearly matches the order here, but sadly not quite.

I tossed up what order to put them in and I decided that colour order would be a nice touch. In the "correct order" it would be:
Haste, Vigilance, Flying, Deathtouch, Trample which does make more sense so that Haste is more obvious for newer players. Should I leave as is or change the order?

As to rarity, it could be a Mythic rare but I had it as a rare because it was supposed to be a Legendary creature, I just forgot to select the supertype (oops). Should I add it or leave as is ?

I don't feel it should be legendary.

Let me rephrase that: I don't feel that it needs to be legendary.

I think either combination is fine. (And yes, technically I didn't put mythic rare in the list of allowed rarities, but because I didn't think any of the creatures would be mythic enough; I was wrong, so conasider it valid for the challenge if it's mythic and non-legendary.)
