Mashup of Advance Scout and Daze for (((Challenge # 001))).
I know others have done this mashup but they have been focused on the counterspell aspect. I wanted to go the other way and apply Daze's Template to the scout and its ability.
Hopefully it works.

Nice card! An ACC 1/1 first striker is handy - would be even better if it had flash. The rhystic first strike may not work particularly well - at the times you want it, you really don't want the opponent to be able to pay to prevent it - but it's still interesting.

If you have the mana available you could just use it multiple times to soak up their mana - if they don't bite they're sitting on something.
