Hmmm. Not sure the oneoff loot ability is worth giving up the ability of Shimmering Grotto to tap for mana on its own.

Is looting at the beginning of your upkeep better? If so, is it balanced?

That's certainly less clear-cut which is better of this or the Grotto. This would probably be a fairly good card at that point; comparable to Mikokoro, Center of the Sea.

Now it triggers at the beginning of each player's upkeep and lets that player loot. Before, it triggered at the beginning of your upkeep, but made everybody loot.

Looting every turn on a land might not be appropriate at uncommon. Should I switch this with Land That Time Forgot, bringing in another use of the new ability word?
