How is this different from
: Put a +1/+1 counter on ~?"
Blue doesn't get pump that's this efficient, nor does any color get permanent pump that's this efficient.
Hm okay. i assumed this would be a problem.
what about:
: Tap target land?
>
,
: Tap target land.
It's kinda like Magus of the Rishadan Port. Not sure about what would be the appropriate cost for it. Maybe
? Also, this could be argued to be
now I guess, idk.
Yeah, this is a red ability not a blue one. I'd guess it would match up better if it froze lands instead of tapping them, which is towards where red's land destruction is moving
that works for me!
should the cmc be 2 or 3?
Oh no, you did the opposite of what I meant. I meant freeze instead of tap. This is too unfun
It's kinda like Mana Leech / Mole Worms now. It got a throwback in Mana Skimmer. Definitely
now if we go by what WotC is currently experimenting with.
oops! tbh i didn't know what freezing was when you mentioned it, just googled it to see what you meant.. Also i can't see what those cards are Tahazzar, WOTC is down right now for maitenance (for me at least? i dont know how that works...) without seeming like a huge idiot, it would be kind if you could show me what you meant by freeze instead of tap.. as when i googled freeze (and i know magic slang varies) it informed me to freeze is to "Tap something,it doesn't untap next untap step"
I guess freezing does mean "tap and doesn't untap." On something repeatable, that seems too much of a lockdown card. Wizards has recently printed Stensia Innkeeper and Chandra's Revolution to explore this in red.
ah okay. So how should I make this more blue? Is there any way blue could affect lands negatively?
Bounce? Like Aven Fogbringer / Glowing Anemone. Hmmm, flickering could make those very obnoxious. Maybe...

Creature 1/1
> When ~ dies, (you may exile it. If you do,) return target land to its owner's hand.
i like this very much! ty!
edit: is this too meh? maybe i could make it better, ie a 2 drop common?
