Okay, so there's this 'principle' of sorts that states blue doesn't get vanilla 2/2s for {1}{u}, which represents its status as the 'worst' creature color. I don't know how long WotC is gonna keep that up though, since not too long ago it gave those 2/2 vanillas for {1}{c} to black, and then pretty soon it gave it to red as well + those vanilla creatures had relevant creature types.

This means that a 2/2 for {1}{u} is a bit iffy, but this is snow and has a minor ability as well. If you make it a 2/1 or 1/3 it's all 'fine' though.

I'm not sure I get the flavor. It seems like it should be an Elemental / Zombie instead of a Human.

I think the flavour is pretty clear. It's a human, but has no soul. So pure spirits can't block it, they wander through it like they do walls.

And the idea of these 'frostborn', people without souls? Dripping with flavour. Lods of stuff you could do there.

well i'll likely do something with that then.

i'm still pretty bamboozled by how terrible this set is. it's gonna take a lot of work to get up to my standard quality

should i make frostborn it's own creature type like i did with dreamweaver in xalai?
