Honestly might be a bit too good with White Bone Spirit, but we'll see.
This could be
as well - IMO it would feel better in that color. Could Soul's Fire effect work?
That 'or another' would make that very very strong. Lightning bolt every time you stick +1 counters on things? Yum!
I think it could work with a bit of number tweaking though; making this a bit less powerful, or higher casting cost (which would let you reduce the monsterising cost)
Yeah. I chose to put it in Red specifically because
creatures generally have less toughness and make fighting slightly riskier. The base cost is low but monsterizing is so high specifically so that you're encouraged to use it with cheaper monsters instead (plus the lower stats make it easier to kill). If it proves to be value city with White Bone Spirit, I'll bump the cost up to
.
Similar to Soul's Fire, I thought about making the trigger "Deals damage to target creature or player equal to the number of +1/+1 counters on it.", but I feel like I'm using too many direct damage/life loss effects in the RB deck.
3/2 -> 2/2
