Might move it to be a bit cheaper and a rare, given how annoying this makes removing things. But I think it's at a high enough cost to be okay at uncommon (like Archetype of Endurance).
Not particularly based on any mythological bird but rather Chinese symbolic attributes of owls.
Have you considered using "hidden"?
Not really, I'd rather not "introduce" a mechanic for use on one real card so far.
What if we say it's evergreen? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I'll even approve its use in
cards.
This feels like a rare or even mythic mechanic. So very splashy.
It's on the border between uncommon and rare, but I figure it's costly enough that it should be okay at uncommon. If it's too strong I'll probably either add "other" or change it to a 3/3.
@Tahazzar, tell you what - if I use the design two more times in this set or the hypothetical follow-up set, I'll add it as an evergreen keyword.
Added "flying" addendum. 3/5 -> 4/4.
"flying" -> "Spirits". Tribal nonsense.
