I'd go for a more toughness-heavy p/t e. g. 1/4

why? elves aren't known for that, are they? If they are , apologies, im behind xD

They are also not "not known" for it. And this is a creature with reach, so its purpose is blocking fliers - bonus points if it can do so multiple times and maybe kill the flier in the process. Since fliers usually have smaller toughness since part of their cost is paid for flying rather than p/t a high-toughness, low-power creature with reach can still be an efficient blocker against fliers.

Also I think differentiating this from Polaria Bears a bit would be neat. 1/3 with reach? There are only three commons in the set that can overcome that toughness, but at least there would be common flier who could withstand the power (while the rest just gets cold-stopped by this).

Very good point. you've convinced me. Also I think i'd like to change the condition as well, to be MUCH more thematically pleasing

You should change the condition back or increase the number of Forests needed. The default for most situations you are able to pay this card's mana cost is to control a Forest.

Maybe make it a basic forest?

That would essentially still have no impact for limited. I don't really see the purpose for standard / block constructed formats either.

Yeah; this is green. Ergo, you control a forest. It's trinket text.

Which has its place, but seems odd here.

Could this be a non-green elf with this condition? That would work nicely.

Maybe i'll make it activated. That also feels more shambling, rather than this. this feels kind of like treehouse flavor

I know it could just say {g} but this is more flavorful. Also a bit weak.. so maybe i'll change it, idk
