See my comment on Elven Mapper. This ability breaks the color pie. (It's also quite strong for the cost of the card.)

It's important to remember that a cost of {w/u}{w/u} is very different from a cost of {w}{u}. {w/u} should only be doing things that both colors could do by themselves; you should treat it as though this were both a monowhite card and a monoblue card, but not both. {w}{u} means that the card has access to both portions of the pie.

I don't know why I keep doing this, I know it's wrong, I just seem to keep doing it.

It's a common mistake even among experienced designers. It's hard to avoid, especially since real cards break the rule: See Augury Adept and other cards from the Shadowmoor block. The high density of hybrid card caused color pie violations.

This is a life gaining Archivist. The free card each turn is worth upgrading this in rarity. I think this should be rare.
