Looks pretty powerful as it is a better [[Sunscorched Desert]] (except for the Desert subtype.)

I would describe it as generally better Radiant Fountain. It's not inconceivable.

Considering Sunscorched Desert is very weak without the subtype and this can' be used to damage planeswalkers I suspect this is ok.
