This looks white or black to me. Painful Memories, Agonizing Memories... in fact this is exactly Lost Hours but at 1-mana rare rather than 2-mana common.
Alex is right. This is quite black.
As of Origins, Oust-type effects are exclusively blue, according to Rosewater anyway. As such, I assumed this effect would be blue as well -- I'd completely forgotten that Lost Hours was even a card.
Honestly, I should probably just make this a Thoughtseize reprint. It's Ashiok's signature spell. Or Tormented Thoughts I suppose. My main reason for making this card was to have a few spells associated with Ashiok in this set, and I wanted a few of them to be blue since all of his associated cards in the past have been black. Ashiok's Masterstroke satisfies the need for a blue spell with his name on it, even if the effect it provides is a bit out of his usual bailiwick.
