I think the flying/islandwalk combination is great fun, but on balance, I don't know how it will play, as the obvious objection is that since the most common flyers are blue, "flying and islandwalk" is nearly as good as "unblockable", which is simpler. (It just occurs to me a blue alternative would be to have AND rather than OR: "This has flying as long as defending/attacking player controls at least one island" although I don't know your cycle would be the place for that.)

It is funny. This creature might as well say "This creature can only be blocked efficiently by dragons and angels."

"Protection from everything apart from Dragons" would be pretty funny too. They came close to it with Harbinger of Spring (it makes more sense with a more common creature type).

Well, white has a lot of flyers as well. Plus, having flying opens it up to green removal, and of course, green has reach. Jack, I like your idea (it fits the flavor as well), but you're right: it wouldn't work in the cycle.

And, come to think of it, Pristine Angel "protection from everything except colourless Eldrazi" :)
