Not sure what to do with this now that Cathartic Reunion exists...

Well, "Discard all the cards in your hand, then draw that many cards plus one." would cost approximately 3-4cmc.

­Shattered Perception plus cantrip rather than flashback.

Or you could (functionally) reprint Cathartic Reunion or keep the card as is, test it, then probably reduce its cost to {1}{r}.
