Just so you know: About Face and Twisted Image show that this effect normally costs basically nothing, i.e. you get it on a cantrip for 1-2 mana. 3 mana without a cantrip is quite a hefty price to pay for this, although I appreciate you may just want this to have a higher cost for the sake of Transmute.

Yeah I was originally going to call it just Transmute and have that the ONLY thing that the card did - kinda a filter for your deck, but I decided it should do something by itself. And by making it CMC 3, it can fetch all your toolbox stuff - like Cancel etc.

Hmmm, could make it CMC 2 so you can get Mana Leak et al.....
