Hm. In almost all sets the poison doesn't matter, but then, it's probably still not too good for UB.
Counsel of the Soratami with replaced by is probably just about printable. And this is a wordier version with exactly the same effect, so yeah, seems okay.
Exactly. A more serious advantage is that it can also be a finisher in a black-blue infect deck, but that's probably still ok. (Rosewater's articles say they printed few target player gets a poison counter instants/sorceries, but they did print some, and this is notably hampered in that it can deliver the 10th, but you really, really don't want to give someone the 9th with it :))
Plus, you can always play it on yourself - especially if your opponent isn't running infect and you are stalled.
