Hopefully I got the wording right so the targetting works. This can target any permanent, but if it's not a creature (or planeswalker) by the time it resolves, it won't do anything. You can't use this as creature removal unless you spend only mana produced by lands (or nonartifact permanents) to cast it, which makes it a bit more restrictive in this set.
