What's X? The creature's power, or toughness, or CMC?

And at this point, why aren't you just casting Resurrection / Breath of Life / Rise from the Grave / Zombify / Unburial Rites / Obzedat's Aid?

This card is mainly meant as a semi-reanimator that plays into token themes as well as the spirit sub-theme of the hollow.
