Hmm. I wonder how this wording works under the rules. It might be simpler to say "if this didn't ETB or attack this turn."
Very interesting ability. Reminds me of Outlast, but better. I wish WotC had done Outlast like this.
Like Link said, idk how to properly word the reminder text on this one. Personally, I think "if it was able to attack this turn but did not, put a..." reads better.
I worry about the "if it was able to attack," because I feel like that's confusing and hard to determine.
I agree with Link. It'd confuse people any time there was something like a Norn's Annex.
This removes most of the tactical interest from Outlast, though. It's a simple "can I safely attack this turn? If not, then I get an awesome blocker and to keep increasing in size each turn until I can attack". Outlast was less good, but that made for more interesting gameplay.
