...Huh? So you exile it during your turn, then it comes back either during your end step or the opponent's end step... so either way it can't attack next turn? Plus it frustratingly gains haste when it's not allowed to attack (and has haste already)?
Maybe easier to template:
Haste
At the end of your turn, ~ gains defender. (Use a counter to represent this)
: Return ~ to your hand; activate this ability only during your turn.

Fixed it. It was supposed to come back at upkeep, but I forgot to adjust the template I copied from AEtherling >
Do you want it to have haste when you cast it normally? I assume so, but then you don't need it to "gain haste" when it flickers.
