Holy cow.

Is that a good cow or a bad cow?

It's a "the power level on this is ridiculous" cow. Look at what Stensia Bloodhall did for an equivalent amount of mana, and that didn't make colored mana. Look at Vitu-Ghazi, the City-Tree, and Sliver Hive. Repeatable creature searching to the battlefield is better than all of those, even though you can only do it every other turn with this.
Also, you spelled "Genesis" wrong.

Thank you for catching the spelling error. And for letting me know of the baseline for lands. Caring for my 8 mo old doesn't leave me time to search gatherer for the baseline of cards when they come to mind I just enter them and hope to get back to them when I can.

I am going to tweak it so that it let's everyone search and switching the mana produced and the activation cost to colorless.

Hee. That's an interesting variation. Makes me think of Boldwyr Heavyweights, or Iwamori of the Open Fist, but those were pure-drawback mechanics on oversize creatures. This is... curiously symmetrical. I don't think I've seen anything like this before; the closest I can think of is Noble Benefactor. This is pretty awesome in the "breakable symmetry" stakes.

I decided to go with the symmetrical route since this can be activated every other turn. Now I guess the question is if its costed right?

I like it a lot better now, but it should still probably cost a bit more. For the white player with Iona, the green with that huge wurm from Ravnica, or anyone with Emrakul, the symmetry is totally broken.

Would a cost of 5-6 work? I thought about costing it more, but anyone that activates it risks their opponent pulling some game winning creature out against them.

What do you all think that the activation cost should be?

There's also the combo of using a black spell to exiling the best creatures out of your opponent's library, or fetching a creature that doesn't care what your opponent puts on the table (such as Kederekt Leviathan or Magister of Worth.)

I admit, it's much easier to punch holes in the card's cost than to come up with a fair activation cost. The symmetry does mean something, but it's such an abusable symmetry (for example, you could drop an explosive 'enter the battlefield creature', then cast Evacuation or Curfew.)

Then there's the problem of 'This could have just been the creature itself.' Or, in other words, if this search through your library and can put an Iona, Shield of Emeria onto the battlefield, how is it any different than a fifth copy of Iona Shield of Emeria? Wouldn't that then infer that this should cost at least {6}{w}{w}{w}? Technically, that line of thinking is flawed, since Tooth and Nail exists. (I know T&N puts two creatures into play for 9, but it's also worth noting that the card was printed over 10 years ago when huge creatures weren't as huge, and has no real peers.)

The closest card that just searches through a library and puts a creature into play that I know of is Green Sun's Zenith. You got to be really careful with that card, since it is occasionally the highest rated green card on Gatherer. But I think the {x} in the cost does a great job of solving a lot of the problems that everyone is bringing up. Personally, I think that if you made the activation {x}{x} (and possibly added "X cannot be zero." Not sure.), that you could get rid of the kind of ugly 'doesn't untap next turn', and maybe even the parity of your opponent fetching a creature (though, the Spike in me does like the parity line. Especially if I've got tons of mana, but am putting 2 cost creatures into play because I know my opponent has none. Some Timmies, however, are bound to hate the parity. Group hug Timmies should be fine, though.) Even then, I think XX might be too cheap. Putting a 1 cost creature from your library into play ever turn for {2} is nothing to sneeze at... even if you're just using it for the sacrifices. As Link pointed out, Vhitu-Gazi puts a 1/1 on the battlefield for {2}{g}{w}. And that's a really good card.

Otherwise, the activation would have to be huge. A sorcery that just puts a creature onto the battlefield probably costs {7}{g}. A land that activates to do that every turn? I'm not sure, but I would guess somewhere close to {14}. With enters the battlefield tapped, stays frozen one turn and parity? I'm just throwing numbers around at this point, but my best guess would be from {10} to {12}. By that point, you got to be asking "Who exactly am I making this land for?"

I upped the activation to {9}, and upped the rarity. I'd like to still keep it in the playable range.

I'm set on keeping it symetrical in the creature fetching though, I like the risk involved.
