Whoa, double birds of paradise, on a better body - and at a reasonable cost? Sign me up!
Annoyingly furthers the whole "The way to play multicolour is to be mono-green" thing, what with its dual-green cost, but still worth playing.
Is it too good? Well Altar of the Lost is this, but colourless and limited to only casting flashback. Likewise Smokebraider is cheaper, but even more limited on where the mana can be used.
No restrictions on where the mana can go? This is very very pushed; but my gut instinct is it's printable. Also, nice picture of a withered lotos.
Mmm, this is cheaper than you've been able to get a repeatable two rainbow mana before. Compare Silhana Starfletcher. On the other hand you can get the pure mana version of this at 4 mana at common - Dawn's Reflection / Market Festival. And Fertile Ground is the same cost as Sylvan Caryatid. So... perhaps this would be fair at 3G... so perhaps it's fair at 1GG?
It's certainly very good, but so is Sylvan Caryatid.
I'm planning to add dwarves to the set as nonbasic land and wall removal. Abundant wall could certainly see play in a limited environment, but decks packing red would potentially even mainboard cards that could provide consistent removal in a standard environment. It's a bit more designed for EDH and potentially modern than other formats. Sylvan Caryatid is better imo, simply for being cheaper and having hexproof.
PLus, cards like Fyndhorn Elder would suggest this is balanced, considering it doesn't have any real tribal interactions.
