I think Scryb Sprites isn't really in green's pie these days.

The flavor being, the Flitmarsh is the blue/black "region" of Axagos, the G/U/B wedge. So these dryads, while traveling through the Flitmarsh, have picked up a faerie companion.

The flavour is nice enough, but the fact remains that you're getting a 1/1 flyer for (G). I mean, it's not a problem of power level - blue gets Flying Men variants from time to time these days - just colour pie. Time Spiral had green flyers like Scryb Ranger, but that was a deliberate reference to the old colour pie. You could do it, but just be aware that it's a little pie-breaking.

Also, hang on - doesn't this give you a 1/1 non flyer as well as the 1/1 flyer token? That seems quite a bit too good as a 1-drop.

Also, what is "successfully cast" supposed to mean?

Oh, it's switched around. It used to be a 0/1 that brought a 1/1 flyer; now it's a 1/1 that brings a 0/1 flyer. That's more sensible.

"Successfully cast" is a very old piece of terminology, from pre-Sixth Edition rules: e.g. see Opal Gargoyle. If you really want to say that then the modern wording is "When you cast", as on Kozilek, Butcher of Truth and friends. But it'd be much more natural to say "When ~ enters the battlefield" (which on Multiverse you can abbreviate as "When ~ ETBs").

I thought I always had it as a 1/1 body that created a 0/1 flyer... anyway, I deferred to "successfully cast" instead of ETBs as a buffer against flicker/exile tricks. I suppose exploiting this effect isn't too concerning.
