A card that didn't make it to my Banda Box 3.
Yiyiyikes! Repeatable removal on a land seems crazy good.
Even at that cost + being a land slot that adds colorless but asks you two different colors? :) I didn't get to develop this one, though, so you may be right. :P
Well, it's reasonably expensive removal, that isn't really very good. Still, it'd be very irritating to be sat across from; and if they drop a second one on turn 6? Ouchie.
Mostly, I kind of figure that the ability on a land that produces colorless is equivalent to what you could put on a one casting cost creature. Hence Akrasan Squire ≈ Cathedral of War.
So, if I was to use that as a baseline, I'd probably say this looks fair. A 1/1 creature that costs two colors to activate to either give a minor boost, or do black's version of Prodigal Pyromancer. Seems legit.
The problem, though, isn't one of power level. It's that it's so hard to remove land, that the ability becomes a complete griefer. I mean, it's fair, but I don't think it's very fun... and it's going to have a very big effect on the metagame, as players avoid playing with X/1s. I don't think one good land is worth 20 X/1 creatures in the set, to be honest.
